Stylish Mode Bandana Head Wrap April 2, 2011
Motorcycle bandana, headband, head wrap, whatever you call it, we love 'em! Okay girls, here's my latest find...
Stylish Mode has a great bandana head wrap that is fashionable on or off the bike.
I tried out the Purple Mod Squares bandana version in the standard size. It's a fun pattern that goes well with other items in my everyday wardrobe.
When I first got it, I immediately tried it on. Easy enough. It's a simple design so you really can't put it on the wrong way. It has an elastic band that is cloth covered for a comfortable fit. That's always a plus. But then I realized, um, this is a bit tighter than I'm used to.
Well, it's supposed to be that way. It's designed to stay on and not slip. I wouldn't say it was uncomfortably tight, but definitely snug.
Don't like snug? No worries, they have other sizes available and will even custom create headbands for you based on the measurements you give them. Not a bad service for a product that is under $15.00!
You can also arrange it on your head so that it acts more like a headband than a bandana. Kinda like two products in one!
Motorcycle Bandana Head Wrap Will it stay on without a helmet while riding? I don't know since I don't ride without a helmet anymore. Honestly though, if I still lived in a no-helmet-law state, I would definitely give motorcycle bandana a try. I honestly think it would stay on. (Which is saying a lot because I can't get anything to stay on my head other than a helmet.)
It's made of cotton or a cotton blend. That's nice because I know it will wick away moisture. Especially under a helmet in hot summer riding.
Here's another reason why I like this product: I wore it under my helmet and it stayed on when I took my helmet off. That's an issue I've had with other headbands. With this one, I didn't have to mess with anything. If you have bangs, this is a bonus. No crazy hair sticking up and matted. As long as you like the bandana or headband "look", you're set.
They have many colors and prints to choose from as well as additional styles.
